About FFC Martial Arts Academy

 FFC didn’t start in a fancy facility. It started in our basement.

A handful of students. A vision. A belief that martial arts should build more than fighters — it should build character.

We quickly outgrew the basement, and in 2011 we officially opened inside the old Grand Island Mall as FFC School of MMA. FFC stands for Fighting For Christ — because for us, faith and discipline go hand in hand. We believe strength without purpose falls short.

Three years later, when the roof quite literally turned into a waterfall, we packed up and kept moving. The building changed. The mission didn’t.

In 2017, we joined Railside downtown as our community continued to grow. More families. More competitors. More students learning confidence, resilience, and respect on the mats.

By 2023, we had outgrown that space too.

So, we made another move — into the home we’re in today. With that growth came a new name: FFC Martial Arts Academy. Not because our foundation changed, but because we expanded. We evolved. We became more than MMA.

From a basement to a thriving academy, one thing has stayed the same:

We’re here to build strong people — mentally, physically, and spiritually.

And we’re just getting started.
